JANUARY 4, 2024: RacquetX, the world’s first all-racket sports experience, announced the support of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) for its debut festival. The USTA is the national governing body for the sport of tennis in the U.S. and the leader in promoting and developing the growth of tennis at every level -- from local communities to the highest level of the professional game. A not-for-profit organization, it invests 100% of its proceeds in growing the game. It owns and operates the US Open, one of the highest-attended annual sporting events in the world, RacquetX event will occur at the Miami Beach Convention Center from March 24 - 26, 2024. It is the first-ever event to feature ALL racket sports -- including tennis, pickleball, padel, table tennis, and more.

It takes place during the week of the Miami Open, a leading ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 tournament. Attendees (fans and brands) can buy a RacquetX ticket to admit them to a special Miami Open night.

RacquetX is open to all consumers and businesses (unlike traditional sports events) and will feature:

  • Displays by a wide range of racket-related brands -- including the latest rackets and paddles, equipment, accessories, fashion, infrastructure and technology
  • Fast-paced and inspiring talks by a wide range of sports professionals on topics ranging from sports tech to health and wellness to fashion to the impact of Gen Z on racket sports
  • Nine multi-sport courts inside the Convention Center, where fans and pros can play, learn and test new equipment
  • After-hours entertainment and experiences

Tennis remains a hugely popular sport in the U.S. and has experienced a 33% boom in participation since 2020. Many players now play both tennis and other racket sports like pickleball and padel, creating a huge cross-sell opportunity for racket sports brands. Consumers have even taken to wearing tennis attire off the court, known as tenniscore.

One of the most diverse and inclusive racket sports today, U.S. tennis is a model for emerging games and global tournaments.

“We are excited to support the inaugural RacquetX conference, which should be an incredible event and opportunity for tennis and the racquet sports industry,” said Mickey Maule, Managing Director, Industry and Sales, USTA.

RacquetX Co-Founder Robyn Duda adds, “To have the USTA supporting RacquetX is another great milestone. The USTA does a huge amount for the promotion and development of tennis. Their collaboration is a win-win!
